We depend on community grants and individual and corporate contributions to further our cause and to ensure our continuance. Our staff of director, board members, and volunteers create revenue by way of staging special events produced from here or from elsewhere to provide funding for our operational expenses and to ensure upkeep, restoration, and preservation of Cavitt Place. Our programing is more often than not historical, always informative, frequently entertaining, and sometimes spot-on, with a current affairs topic. Our Lunch and Learn Events and History on the Move, summer camp for middle school, are both popular and well worth the effort to produce.
